Rejoice McDonald's McRib lovers, the "Saucy, tangy, tender and shamelessly delicious" iconic sandwich is officially back.

We checked with Shreveport and Bossier McDonald's to see if they do in fact have the McRib in town and it looks like all systems are a go when it comes to getting your McRib fix.

If you avoid getting excited because the McRib doesn't show up at your local McDonald's in the past, this comeback is nationwide, all 14,400 of the McDonald's restaurants in the US are scheduled to bring it back.

We got it straight from the source, McDonald's News announced that they will not only be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the McRib but they'll also for the first time create a limited number of NFTs.

NFTs? What is that?

Think of them as are non-fungible tokens, so unique pieces of virtual art that can’t be duplicated.

In previous years, the McRib was only sold at select locations, thanks to the pandemic.

This sparked outrage by many McRib aficionados that had to drive to certain McDonald's locations for their fix, which also caused long lines at certain restaurants.

The McRib made its big comeback on November 1st, last year we waited until December 2nd.

What is the McRib? The sandwich is a boneless pork patty, shaped like a rack of ribs and smothered in barbecue sauce with onions and pickles.

LOOK: 50 famous memes and what they mean

With the infinite number of memes scattered across the internet, it's hard to keep track. Just when you've grasped the meaning of one hilarious meme, it has already become old news and replaced by something equally as enigmatic. Online forums like Tumblr, Twitter, 4chan, and Reddit are responsible for a majority of meme infections, and with the constant posting and sharing, finding the source of an original meme is easier said than done. Stacker hunted through internet resources, pop culture publications, and databases like Know Your Meme to find 50 different memes and what they mean. While the almost self-replicating nature of these vague symbols can get exhausting, memes in their essence can also bring people closer together—as long as they have internet access.
