Chef Gabe Balderas is Known For Sharing His Passion for Food Through Fun Dining Experiences

Every Tuesday Chef Gabe and his crew at Zuzul Coastal Cuisine host an Omakase dinner. Omakase is a Japanese dining experience where the diner leaves it up to the chef. The chef chooses the menu, and the diner trusts the chef to create a personalized meal. According to the Michelin Guide, the word omakase translates to "I leave it up to you". That is exactly what my friends and I did.

Although I lost count of how many courses there were, and I forgot to take pictures of every dish, I can say this is the most unique dining experience of my life. What made this dinner so unique was that we were sitting right in front of Chef Gabe, and we were all able to ask questions on the spot.
