Shreveport Police Arrest Another Convicted Felon W/Firearm

On April 16th, 2023, Shreveport Police Community Response Unit members contacted a suspicious person at Snow Street and Pickett Street. During this investigation, Keithric Marshall (10-31-89) was found to be in possession of a firearm and multiple types of narcotics.

Further investigation into the matter revealed that Marshall was prohibited from possessing a firearm due to being a convicted felon for prior violent offenses.

The firearm was seized by the offices and Marshall was arrested for one count of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, three counts of possession of Schedule Two, one count of possession of a firearm with a controlled dangerous substance, and one count of resisting.

We are required to advise that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
