The Shreveport Police Department is searching for 19-year-old Ta'Darious Upshaw, the man accused of firing the shots that killed a young girl.

Police responded to the shooting just after 5:30pm on November 15th at the Linwood Homes Apartments on Bernstein Avenue in Shreveport. There they found two victims inside a car, which had come under "heavy" gunfire near the entrance of the apartment complex.

The two victims were 22-year-old Roderick Robinson, and 2-year-old Kynsley Robinson. Roderick was suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg, while Kynsley was shot in the head. Both were transported to Ochsner LSU Health Hospital, where Kynsley died a few hours later.

Police are now on the hunt for Upshaw. The warrant for his arrest is currently on the charge of Aggravated Assault With A Firearm, but additional charges are expected.
