Where Has the Pizzaletta Gone?

There are several broken hearts throughout the Ark-LaTex. Like crawfish is to Mudbug Madness, and beer is to Brew, and wine is to Cork, the Pizzaletta is a staple to The Red River Revel.

For the past 47 years, people all over Shreveport-Bossier have flocked to the Revel for the music, the art, and the delicious food. There is one item that many of us love, it's the perfect mix of a Louisiana staple a muffuletta, and a pizza. Basically, as my friend Hillary describes a Pizzaletta, it's harmony in your mouth.

In 2019 We Missed the Pizzaletta at the Revel Due to Vandalism

The Saint Joseph Catholic School PTO would dedicate their time for the weeks leading up to The Revel to make all the Pizzaletta's. They would special order ingredients and give up countless hours and manpower flooding the school cafeteria to get these Pizzaletta's to the Revel. We weren't able to taste the fruit of their labor due to a horrid case of vandalism. Culprits broke into the Saint Joseph Catholic School refrigerated truck and ruined all the supplies.

Saint Joseph Catholic School took to their Facebook to say they would try to make a comeback in 2020.

Unfortunately for Several of Us Who Love the Pizzaletta You Can't Find Them Anywhere.
