
Shreveport’s Historic Fire Station 10 Re-opening
After more than $300,000 in renovations, a historic Shreveport fire station is reopening.
Fire Station 10 is located at 763 Oneonta Street. Mayor Ollie Tyler and Fire Chief Scott Wolverton invite everyone out to take a look at all of the improvements, which .
A Grand Re-Opening Ceremony will run from 4-6 p.m. Monday, November 16. Refreshments will be served.
Funding to restore the fire station was from a 2011 bond proposition passed and supported by Shreveport citizens. The building was in serious need of repairs, especially to the roof. Work began in mid-March.
