‘SNL’ Announces First Two Hosts and Musical Guests Of 40th Season

"Parks and Recreation" star Chris Pratt, coming off a huge summer starring in the season's biggest box-office hit, "Guardians of the Galaxy", has been tapped to host the season premiere of "Saturday Night Live" with musical guest Ariana Grande.

Comedian Sarah Silverman, who was a castmember briefly during the 1993-1994 season, will host the following week. Maroon 5 will serve as musical guests, making it their fifth appearance on the late-night program.

"Saturday Night Live"'s 40th season kicks off September 27 at 10:30 (CT) on NBC.
