Starbucks Has Your Latest (Non-PSL) Fall Addiction
Just when I thought I kicked the habit, Starbucks reminds me that I just can't quit them.
The fall season is upon us and for many of us that means lining up at Starbucks to get our favorite fall-flavored, caffeine fix. Voted "most likely to be purchased" is the pumpkin spice latte. However, there is a new kid on campus and I think I'm crushing hard.
Enter, the Maple Pecan Latte.
Tall, dark and handsome. I think he may be Canadian? Or Southern... I can't quite tell. All I know is that it's love. PopSugar.com recently reviewed this new addition to the fall lineup and it seems to be a hit. They describe it as rich maple syrup, pecan and brown butter flavors with a similar sweetness level to that of the Cascara latte (my current fav). I think they even related the sipping experience to that of watching Hocus Pocus.
Sold.
It looks like I'm going to have to reinstate my "One Visit a Week" rule. Call me basic, but I can spend a pretty penny hanging with my ride-or-die, mermaid chick. Nothing wrong with a little treat now and then for getting through the week. MPL... I'll see you Friday!
