Ladies, call your girlfriends now. Steel Magnolias is returning to the big screen for a limited run this May in honor of its 30th anniversary.

If you love the big hair, long drawls, and deep South, you'll not want to miss this treat. See Truvy, Annelle, Shelby, M'Lynn, Clairee, and Ouiser back in all their glory 30 years later.

Fathom Events and Turner Classic Movies have come together to bring the classic back.

It's such a quotable film! Here are a few of my favorites:

"If he's trying to drive me crazy, it's too late." - M'Lynn

"I can usually spot a bottle job at 20 paces." - Truvy

"Don't try to get on my good side. I no longer have one." - Ouiser

"I'm just too colorful for words." - Clairee

"You can't screw up her hair. You just tease it and make it look like a brown football helmet." - Shelby

You'll be able to see Steel Magnolias locally Sunday, May 19th at 4:00 pm at both Tinseltown in Shreveport and the Regal Louisiana Boardwalk 14 in Bossier City and then again at 7:00 pm at Tinseltown, Tuesday, May 21st at 7:00 pm at Tinseltown and the Regal Louisiana Boardwalk 14, and then at the final showings Wednesday, May 22nd at 7:00 pm at Tinseltown and the Regal Louisiana Boardwalk 14. As I'm sure you know, Steel Magnolias' story is set in small-town Louisiana and was filmed in Natchitoches, grossing over $95,000,000 worldwide.
