If you've ever driven down the streets of downtown Shreveport at night on a weekend you will see a line of people waiting to get into a club. On the corner of Texas and Spring, you can find Style Bar. Many Shreveport residents are shocked to hear about the closure of the once-popular nightclub. How can such a busy nightclub call it quits?

Several Shreveport Residents Claim That They Had No Idea the Bar Planned to Shut Down.

According to The Shreveport Sun, "Style Bar officially closed their doors January 6, 2024, giving the people who have caused the business to become a city wide phenomenal to give the people of Shreveport one more night to remember." After looking through several Facebook statuses from Shreveport residents it seems that many of the regulars knew a closure was coming. They went all out on the last night Style Bar was open for business.

What Is Next For This Space?

Will another nightclub move in? Will this space be converted into a restaurant? Could the bar be closing down to revamp and return better than ever? Unfortunately, we have no idea what is next however we are eager to see what happens to this space. We hope it doesn't stay empty for long. We want downtown Shreveport to continue to grow and provide a fun nightlife.
