Suspect Named in Shreveport Double-Homicide
Shreveport police need your help locating a suspect in the December 6th double homicide.
Just before 1am Monday (12/6/21) shots rang out on Miles Street near Broadway Avenue. When Shreveport Police arrived on the scene of the shooting call, they spotted a car parked in an empty field near the Mooretown neighborhoods.
Upon investigation, Shreveport Police found a male and a female both shot inside of the stopped vehicle. Both were pronounced dead from their gunshot wounds on the scene of the crime.
Fingerprint comparison confirmed the victims, both 41, as D'Angelo Hinton of Mayfield Street in Shreveport and Teola Booker.
After an investigation by the Violent Crime division, police were able to get a suspect. Authorities are asking the public to keep an eye out for 31 year-old Jamarcus J. Richardson. He is considered armed and dangerous and Richardson currently has an active warrant for two counts of Second Degree Murder.
