Bossier City Favorite, Sweet Caroline’s, Announces Closure Date
One of Bossier City's most vibrant entertainment spots, Sweet Caroline's Dueling Piano Bar, is calling it quits. After a year and a half of lively performances and interactive fun, the popular venue made the regrettable announcement via social media on Tuesday night. Its doors will close permanently on June 1st.
The social media post said, "Since opening, we have been a vibrant, community-focused venue — proudly locally, veteran, and minority owned. It has been a place where strangers became friends, and friends became family. The entire team extends heartfelt gratitude to everyone who stepped through our doors and helped create the magic of those incredible evenings. Thank you for the memories. Thank you to our loyal guests for your unwavering support. And, thank you to our talented performers and dedicated staff."
The good news is that Sweet Caroline’s will not abruptly close its doors; they plan to host several farewell parties from May 21st through May 24th and May 28th through May 31st. "We invite everyone to join us in raising a glass, sharing stories, and sending off our amazing staff, players and this beloved venue in true Sweet Caroline’s style — with nights full of music, laughter, and camaraderie."
The social media announcement wasn't entirely a farewell. "While this marks the end of an era, it’s not goodbye — it’s a 'see you soon,'" the post read, sparking immediate speculation. This hopeful message, urging patrons to "stay tuned for what’s next, as we look forward to new adventures to keep the music alive," suggests a new location might already be in the works.
Sweet Caroline's is located at 360 Boardwalk Blvd, Bossier City, LA.
