Shreveport-Bossier is gearing up for Louisiana's biggest taco festival, becoming a huge attraction for Taco Lovers all over East Texas and Louisiana. Taco Wars calls Shreveport home and celebrates Latin culture through food, teaming up with local taquerias, treat vendors, and epic bands that bring us live music.

Saturday, April 26th, from 11:00 am to 8:00 p.m., the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium will be where we all gather for tacos, sweet treats, cold beer, margaritas, live music, and community in Shreveport. Who doesn't love an epic celebration of Latino culture?

Shreveport’s Wait Is Over—The 14 Taco Wars Taquerias Have Been Revealed

Every year, local taquerias compete for Best Taco and Best Salsa, and you get to place your vote. All eateries are there for the same thing: to earn the title for the coveted Golden Taco and Golden Molcajete battle. The eateries switch out every year, and it is up to you to try as many tacos as possible.

Entry is free however, the tacos, treats, and drinks are priced by the vendors and purchased with Taco Tickets.

It's taco currency. It is how we purchase tacos. 1 ticket costs $1 and is purchased at the festival at several ticket kiosks. You may purchase as many as you like at a time, but Taco Ticket sales are final. Just a heads up, most tacos range from 3 to 6 tickets, so plan accordingly.
