Mardi Gras season is almost upon us... In fact, it kicks off in just over a week on Saturday, January 3rd with 12th Night! And that's not the only thing that will happen to kick off the Mardi Gras season!

With Christmas just a week away, people in Northwest Louisiana are getting excited... and it's not just about presents and pumpkin pie!

Wow! The kickoff to the 2014 Mardi Gras season at 12th Night Saturday was one not soon forgotten! All of the area Mardi Gras krewes were out in force and ready to party!

Kick of Mardi Gras in style this Saturday night at 12th Night starting at 6:30pm at the Bossier Civic Center!

Can I just say that 12th Night was amazing! Talk about a fitting kick off to the 2013 Mardi Gras season.

I dropped off five Mardi Gras dresses to the cleaners today and got a Dryel for the rest that can't be dry cleaned... I'm getting my nails done tonight and I plan to Mystic in the morning. Yep, Mardi Gras kicks off this Saturday and I CAN'T WAIT!!!
