Caddo Parish has just issued a complete burn ban throughout the entire parish.

If you plan on doing any outdoor burning, be alert and monitor the flames.

The burn ban was initially issued on August 7th and then modified as recently as September 29th.

The Louisiana State Fire Marshal is modifying the statewide burn ban. The modifications go into effect Friday.

While the statewide burn ban remains in effect, the state fire marshal has relaxed some restrictions for outdoor cooking.

In light of the recent scorching heat and dry conditions, local and state authorities have deemed it necessary to impose a burn ban in Bossier Parish.

With conditions this dry and temperatures hitting triple-digits most every day, the idea of burning anything outdoors becomes more and more dangerous

The DeSoto Parish Police Jury has laid down the law and issued a ban on all outdoor burning for all of DeSoto Parish.

It's very likely that soon we'll see additional burn bans, but don't wait for the ban to pay close attention to any outdoor burning you might do

The ban will continue until further notice and will only allow any private burning with permission from local government or local fire departments.
