Caddo homicide

Shreveport Police Detectives have jailed a man following the murder of another last night.

Arriving officers located two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Upon the arrival of patrol officers, the victim was located suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, lying in front of a gas station.

Omarion Goodwin, 18, pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree murder.

As officers arrived on the scene Shreveport Fire Department declared the victim deceased.

The driver then exited the vehicle armed with a firearm and fled on foot from officers.

Shreveport Police are investigating a shooting call that has left one man dead.

After two months without a homicide, violence broke out on Labor Day (9/5/22) in Shreveport.

Police were able to identify Archille Holmes Jr. (2-6-1995) as the person they believe responsible for the homicide.

A man and a woman killed by gunfire in Shreveport's Mooretown neighborhood early Monday, December 6, 2021, have been named by the Caddo Parish Coroner's office.

Just before 1am Monday (12/6/21) shots rang out on Miles Street near Broadway Avenue.
