Shreveport's Municipal Auditorium has re-opened, and it's time to start a new era off with a bang. Former "The Voice"/"X-Factor" contestants Cole Vosbury, Dez Duron and Willie Jones will play the historic venue May 9.

Oh wee!!! Al Calderon took on a song that saw a resurgence in popularity last year due to the success of Dez Duron on The Voice last night on X Factor USA. Not only did he perform the same song, he even rocked a white tee just like Dez. So, who did it better...

First Willie Jones left the X Factor, then Dez Duron was voted off The Voice and now, the last contestant that I actually liked on the X Factor is gone. Well, other than Emblem3... Bye, bye CeCe Frey. Poor CeCe. No one could ever get your name right...

The adoooorable, handsome, wanna take home to our mama Dez Duron had the sweet spot on 'The Voice' tonight. That means he closed the show, newbies.

America's votes for the popular reality music TV show "The Voice" have been counted and tonight's special one-hour broadcast gave us those results. Shreveport's own Dez Duron was among those that advanced into the Top 12 to continue to the next competition on Monday.

Shreveport's Golden Boy Dez Duron received a standing ovation from Team Leader Christina Aguilera when he delivered yet another outstanding performance tonight on "The Voice" with Hunter Hayes' hit single, "Wanted."

Louisiana and Arkansas will face-off in a head-to-head as Team XTina featuring Shreveport's own, Dez Duron, will take on Team CeeLo featuring Little Rock, Arkansas's Cody Belew, next week on NBC's 'The Voice'.

Dez Duron made it onto Christina Aguilera's team on The Voice. He made it through the battle round and now the knock out round. Dez is pretty much kicking some serious arse!

The man who got the second chance, ex-Yale football stud and Shreveport native Dez Duron, battled against Paulina, the girl with the voice who reminds us of Ariel from 'The Little Mermaid,' for Team Christina on 'The Voice.'

Dez Duron from Shreveport, Louisiana made an appearance on The Voice last night (Sept. 24) for an audition. He did a great job performing the song "Sara Smile" which was recorded first by Hall & Oates.

Some of you may recognize Dez Duron, who appeared on Season 2 of ‘The Voice’ but didn’t make it past the blind audition. Tonight (Sept. 24), he made an amazing comeback, winning over three out of four judges with his soulful performance of ‘Sara Smile’ by Hall and Oates.

Evangel graduate, Dez Duron, appeared on NBC's The Voice last night and sadly, was not selected by any of the celebrity judges. Regardless, Dez did an amazing job on a national stage and I'm sure we'll be seeing more of  him in the future!
