Downtown Haughton is set to be extra festive this holiday season with the return of the 6th Annual Christmas In Haughton Festival and Parade, this Saturday

This year's festival is expected to be one of the biggest ever!

Sadly, the pandemic made Shreveport's new Bourbon and Barbeque Festival hit the breaks for a while. However, it's back for 2022 and organizers say it'll be better than ever!

The second full weekend of May has always had a special meaning for Blanchard, Louisiana!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!! Christmas in Haughton!

Make sure to bring the kids as Santa Claus himself will make an appearance at the Blanchard Town Hall beginning at 11:00 am.

It's six full hours of live music, various vendors, great food and they'll wrap up the night with a huge fireworks exhibition in the honor of Carrie Prudhomme Lanier.

After the inaugural Bourbon and Barbecue Festival was postponed, then canceled, we finally have a firm date for the event... April 10th, 2021!

I'm so sad to report that after already being rescheduled from April to this weekend, Saturday, August 22, 2020, the inaugural Bourbon and Barbeque Festival in downtown Shreveport's Red River District has been canceled.

You had us at hello! Bourbon AND BBQ? We'll see you there!
