Because of the heavy rains, the National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for much of the Arklatex.

The National Weather Service in Shreveport has updated the information regarding the impending storms bearing down on Shreveport and the entire Ark-La-Tex.

Those who live in those areas prone to flooding know the drill all too well.

While traveling home through flooded streets, one family was met by a woman with a bat who was attempting to slow down vehicles that were driving down the road. The woman hit the family's truck with a bat and also threatened them with a gun.
