These East Texas restaurants are definitely 'Diners, Drive-In's, and Dive' worthy Guy Fieri!

It's no secret that Louisiana has amazing cooking, nor is it a secret that our food has been recognized quite a bit on various cooking and food shows you can see on TV.

A Texas restaurant has been ranked as one of the best Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives in the entire country. Have you been here before?

The accolades were handed out by The Food Network as part of their "50 States of Barbecue".

We were poking around online and discovered that out of all the Louisiana restaurants featured on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives on Food Network, he's never featured an eatery from our area. These are the five restaurants in Shreveport-Bossier City, LA that we think he should visit... first!

No one does Mardi Gras like we do here in Louisiana and when it comes to King Cakes and Food Network says one Shreveport, LA bakery makes and ships one of the best in the country!

In addition to Mean Girls, he's found tremendous success in the TV food world. He is the host of Food Networks' Halloween Wars, and has hosted Cake Wars, Cupcake Wars, and Christmas Cookie Challenge.
