After the carnival season is over, the horses are left homeless.

I believe it is our responsibility as human beings to take care of those without a voice. That could mean a child in an abusive situation or an animal abused for sport. There are way too many instances of the above and then some. Please find it in your heart to help The Humane Society of Louisiana.

This level of depravity is unbelievable to me. I just don't get animal cruelty. I know this didn't happen 'here,' but it doesn't mean we can't be on the lookout. This makes my heart hurt. I'm so glad they didn't release a picture.
