As you've heard, Shreveport's own Kenny Wayne Shepherd is coming home to the CenturyLink Center Friday, August 24th with Lynyrd Skynryd of Sweet Home Alabama fame and this weekend during the Sportsman's Expo, the CenturyLink Center is offering discounted tickets!

Shreveport's own Kenny Wayne Shepherd kicked off his How I Go World Tour Saturday night at the Horseshoe Casino Riverdome and IT WAS FANTASTIC! Keep in mind, I had already spent 10 hours that day working the Sportsman's Expo at the Bossier Civic Center and went straight to the Horseshoe from there and it was worth it!

As you know, I'm a big fan of Kenny Wayne Shepherd and his band and he has a new studio album coming out in August called How I Go. With that being said, it has been proceeded by the first single off the new album called Never Lookin' Back which we premiered on K945! Cool stuff, right? It gets even cooler!

Shreveport is looking for Grammy Gold this Sunday with an impressive FIVE local acts representing the Port City including our very own Kenny Wayne Shepherd making a repeat appearance!!! Let's be clear... Anyone who listens to my show knows I'm biased when it comes to Kenny Wayne.
