Ok, so maybe I'm biased, but the Krewe of Atlas Grand Bal V this past Friday at DiamondJacks was pretty frickin' fabulous! It's a milestone year for the krewe and they didn't disappoint!
It's going to be a crazy night this Saturday at the Krewe of Atlas Social Club! Yes, yes, a good time will be had at the Atlas Coronation, but sadly, I must give up my tiara and sash. As of Saturday night, I will be royalty no more.
Man Alive!!! I swear I was still throwing cups and beads in my dreams last night! Wow! We had a blast yesterday riding in the Highland Parade and the weather was PERFECT for it! There were huge crowds and they were ready for some fun! Hopefully everyone got their hands on a K945 cup or set of beads!
MAN ALIVE! It has been a wild ride and it's not over yet! We still have the final weekend of bals and parades this weekend, but serving this year as the Duke and Duchess of Lagniappe Atlas IV has been a blast!
The Krewe des Ambassadeurs rocked the Horseshoe Casino Riverdome Friday night and when I say rocked, I mean ROCKED. Keith and I had the honor of representing our Krewe's King and Queen (Krewe of Atlas), Ray Pliler and Ruth Grafton as they attended the Krewe of Sobek function the same evening.
Saturday night, myself and four of my fabulous friends and fellow members of the Krewe of Atlas made our way the to the Krewe of Artemis Grand Bal X in Springhill and it was def worth the drive. We had a BLAST!
