Mardi Gras coronation season is in full swing! Saturday night the Krewe of Centaur will crown their new royalty!

This Saturday, August 16th, 2014, the Krewe of Centaur, members of other area krewes and friends and family will be kicking up their heels as Centaur unveils it's royalty for the 2015 Mardi Gras season!

I've ridden in my share of Mardi Gras floats, and while I'm not an expert, I know who and what I like to throw my hard-earned money at. Make no mistake, when someone is throwing you beads, they paid for it! So how do you get the most beads? I have a few pointers for you!

The Krewe of Centaur parade is tomorrow and is expected to be a beautiful day for attendees.

Throw me something mister! The Krewe of Centaur parade rolls this Saturday through the streets of Shreveport throwing tons of beads, plush, 'fine china' cups and more!

I don't even know where to start when it comes to the Krewe of Centaur bal this past Saturday at the Shreveport Convention Center. The presentation, decorations and entertainment were all first class!

The Shreveport Bossier area will be treated to the first Mardi Gras parade of the season tonight (Monday, December 30th) at 6pm at the Louisiana Boardwalk in honor of the University of Arizona and Boston College match up for the AT&T-Advocare V100 Independence Bowl Pep Rally!

The Krewe of Centaur's Male Beauty Pageant is tomorrow night at the Centaur Den on North Market in Shreveport and my husband is in it!

Join the Krewe of Centaur this Saturday for their annual crawfish boil! It's all going down at the Centaur Den located off North Market at Aero Drive in Shreveport from 5pm-9pm.
