Mardi Gras Madness continues in Shreveport/Bossier City this weekend with not one, not two, but three huge parades! Add in two grand bals on top of that and you know Carnivale will be out of control as we roll into Fat Tuesday!

The Krewe of Highland will be rolling out earlier on Sunday to accommodate the big game.

I hate, hate, hate that I missed the Krewe of Highland Bal this past Friday night at the Randall T. Moore Center. Why? Because it's a like a cross between a house party and a Mardi Gras bal with amazing costumes on steroids!

The old adage is true, it never rains on Highland! Well, except for last year, but we're just going to forget that!

One of Shreveport/Bossier City's favorite parades, the Krewe of Highland's, rolls this Sunday, February 15th at 2pm!

The Krewe of Highland Parade got an early start over the weekend because of the threat for severe weather. That nasty weather did arrive, but not until close to the end of the parade for many.

The Rebel Rebel! themed Krewe of Highland Bal this past Friday at the Randall T. Moore Center was a cop's dream! There were rebels galore and quite a few that I'm certain were wanted by the police.

I had an absolute blast with Krewe of Highland Captain LeVette Fuller in studio yesterday. The fun we had just cemented my impression of Highland; wherever their krewe goes, good times ensue!

Yesterday, we rode in the Krewe of Highland Parade with the Krewe Keith and I belong to, the Krewe of Atlas. We had an absolute blast! And as you know, it was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!! We shook our butts to Madonna, Britney, Gaga, Ke$ha and Jimmy James! I'm so loving this song;) Momma Monster gives it two paws up!
