According to our media partners at KATC-TV3, owners of the Seacor Power vessel have filed civil action in hopes to protect the company from liability. The filing is against families of the crew members of the vessel that capsized in April.

Another lawsuit was filed late Thursday (04/30/21) against Seacor Marine and Talos Energy over the tragic and deadly capsizing of the lift boat Seacor Power.

Volunteers searching for the seven remaining missing Seacor crew members found eight life jackets and three hard hats yesterday. It is believed that these are items that could have been worn by the men on the power lift boat.

Quinon Pitre's body was found in the Gulf of Mexico.
