After his turn Sunday at hosting the Oscars Sunday, "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane answered one burning question: Would he do it again?
Upon learning that he was hosting the 2013 Oscars, Seth MacFarlane claims his reaction was simple: "It's an honor that everyone else said no."
MacFarlane mocked the pomp and circumstance of the Oscars, but he still showed the Academy Awards grace and respect. Though this was not one of the Comedy Central roasts that the 'Family Guy' creator was used to, he still killed it.
This year, in a continuing quest by the Academy to make the Oscars “cool” (if you ignore last year), comedian and 'Family Guy' creator Seth MacFarlane was chosen to don a tux and bow tie and host the star-studded event.
To drum up press for the upcoming ceremony, MacFarlane proved that the event coordinators may have finally done something right.
The Oscars are fast approaching (because that's how time works) and ABC wants to remind you to watch the event, which will helpfully be held on "Oscar Sunday."
The day has thus been christened to help with pesky questions like, "Wait, when are the Oscars again?" To which you can now reply, "On Oscar Sunday, you dolt."
