Project Swim is a free program for residents of all ages, funded through a grant, aimed at teaching the basics of surviving and how to have safe fun in the water.

Luckily for Shreveport residents, Shreveport Parks And Recreation has decided to open up one of its city run pools on Independence Day to help families beat the heat.
