Officials at this venerated hall of learning (oftentimes disguised as fun) have fought to just get the doors open to the public - only to find that the public wasn't there.
Over 200 kiddos from nine parishes and counties are headed to the Bossier Civic Center this Saturday, February 8, 2020, to show off their Cyber and STEM skills!
The Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math-centric badges were introduced to help girls "empower themselves to unleash their strengths and accomplish amazing things."
They use popular games like Minecraft and Roblox to teach kids how to speak computer and to reinforce the extremely important STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) lessons.
The goal is to shine a light on the significant impact women are making everyday in their fields in hopes they will inspire the next (and hopefully larger) generation of female scientists.
