A strong storm system is headed in our direction. The Weather Channel reports a strong front is moving across the Southern Plains and is moving into the Deep South.

Through its network of mutual aid, SWEPCO has 150 utility workers from Ft. Worth, Abilene, and Austin, Texas to assist with power restoration.

Strong storms have moved through Shreveport Bossier. A tornado warning was in effect for a part of Bossier Parish this morning. That storm moved into Minden in Webster Parish where dozens of folks were left without power.

Turner Elementary and Turner Middle School along with Huntington High School in west Shreveport will be closed today (Monday, October 21st.)

A horrifying moment was caught on camera as two restaurant employees were sent flying through the air by strong winds as they tried to hold on to their event tent.

Strong storms are moving into Northwest Louisiana. The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning including Shreveport LA, Bossier City LA, and Vivian until 7:15AM.

Yesterday, storms brought tornadoes to East Texas!

A dangerous storm system in the Midwest produced dozens of tornadoes for the second consecutive day Tuesday, demolishing a racetrack grandstand and damaging buildings in a wild animal park in Missouri but sparing St. Louis, the biggest city in its path.

Severe storms continue to impact Arklatex.
