Students from Caddo and Bossier in Running for State Honors
Several local students are in the running for top education honors. The State Department of Education has released the list of youngsters who are regional finalists. These young people are now up for Student of the Year awards.

Big congrats to Georgia Hilburn of Shreveport. She has been chosen as Louisiana's Elementary School Student of the Year. She is a 5th grade student at South Highland Elementary School and is headed to Caddo Middle Magnet in the Fall.
