In 2019 Toys R Us began dipping their toes into the comeback waters by opening two small, experimental stores. Unfortunately, it seems that for now, the move to comeback has fallen flat.

All we know right now, is that after much debate online, the store has started their closing process.

The company has announced plans to begin liquidation this week, but, for now, the Toys R Us Bossier City store is not on the list of locations to be closed.

With the very concept of toy stores fading fast, this could end up being a very unique shopping experience for today's kids.

Some stores have already started shutting down, and experts expect the announcement concerning the rest of the closures inside of a week.

Louisiana and Arkansas will only lose one store each
