Liam Neeson's "Taken 2" scored a whopping $50 million in its first week in theaters, easily securing the No. 1 slot.

Last week's No. 1, "Hotel Transylvania", fell to second place with $27.1 million, while the comedy-musical "Pitch Perfect" debuted in third place with $14.7 million.
