Taylor Swift’s next album is about Jake Gyllenhaal

Taylor Swift opened up to Vogue about the inspiration and heart ache that she’s pouring into her 4^th album. She talked about how love changes her and said, ‘I think I am smart unless I am in love, and then I am ridiculously stupid.’

Taylor admitted that she is single right now and doesn’t feel like dating. She said that she was relieved that she wasn’t sad and crying again this Christmas! That was a reference to her break up with Jake Gyllenhaal, who dumped her around Christmas time back in 2010. She used that break up as inspiration for this fourth album. She said, ‘There's just been this earth-shattering, not recent, but absolute crash-and-burn heartbreak . . . and that will turn out to be what the next album is about.’

Her 4^th album will be out later this year. There are no details on a title or a specific release date yet.
