Texas is No. 1 State for Driving – Which Ark-La-Tex State Also Made Top 10?
This news coupled with the beautiful weather makes me want to hit the open road.
Who doesn't love a good road trip? Road trips are a part of life. They get us to our loved ones, big events or even just away from the noise of life for a bit. For me, it also means that I'm going to indulge in some not-so-resolution-friendly food (burgers and fries are my jam).
However road trips are the only time that we hit the road.
Many of us drive every single day for work, kids soccer, get-togethers with friends, etc. I'd say a pretty decent chunk of our life is spent behind the wheel of a car. Thank goodness we're living in one of the best areas for driving.
WalletHub has ranked Texas as the number one state for driving.
After looking at various contributing factors to driving like gas prices, road quality, rush-hour traffic, and more, WalletHub compiled a list of the Best and Worst States to Drive In. In addition to Texas' high ranking, Arkansas also landed in the top 10 at number nine.
Rounding out the Ark-La-Tex was Louisiana who came in at number 27. Louisiana may not have the best road conditions out there, but a high safety ranking kept the Boot from dropping into the 30's.
