Texas Serial Killer Linked to More Than 60 Deaths
Prosecutors in Texas believe that the man in the picture above is the most prolific serial killer in U.S. History. On Friday, Ector County District Attorney Bobby Bland said that due to Samuel Little's continued cooperation with investigators who are looking into cold cases the confessed murderer may have been involved with, he believes that Little's body count is much higher than previously thought.
So far, the 79-year-old has been convicted of killing three women in California (where he is currently an inmate) and has confessed to killing another woman in Texas. According to NBC News, Bland has been able to connect Mr. Little with more than 60 additional murders across 14 states. Samuel Little claims that the actual number of victims left in his wake is 93.
Investigators believe that since Samuel is getting older, is in failing health, and has exhausted all of his pleas, he is giving up everything he knows. So far, investigators have bee able to make headway on numerous cold cases, including the murders of 2 Louisiana women in 1996. Bland says that cold case investigators from around the country have been flying in to see if Little might provide them with fruitful clues, or an outright confession, as well.
Samuel Little is currently serving a life sentence with no chance of parole.
