The Chica & The Bald Guy Teacher of the Week is Stacy Brumley!

Every week, Chica & the Bald Guy search the Shreveport/Bossier City area (commonly referred to as the SBC) for your favorite teacher.  Every single person who chooses the teaching lifestyle does so knowing that they will most likely never get rich for it.  The fearless men and women that face a class full (or more) of our kids day in and day out deserve much more than they get.

It is in that spirit that we seek to recognize one educator a week who goes above and beyond the call of duty for her students!  This week, that exemplary teacher is North Caddo Elementary Middle School's Stacy Brumley!

Stacy was nominated by Brittany Friday, the daughter of one of Stacy's students. Brittany is obviously impressed by the efforts Mrs. Brumley puts in every day to make school an awesome experience for all of her kids.  Brittany had this to say:

Where do I begin? Mrs Brumley is AMAZING! She does SO much for all her kids. And SO many agree! She helps the ones in special education. She is super great with my special education child as well. My baby absolutely adores her. She literally made all her kids several Christmas presents and even made a huge train out of paper and cardboard for polar Express day! She is extremely creative and makes things fun for kids. Everyone absolutely loves her. My daughter is always excited to go to school and she hated school at first. She is a fantastic teacher. She definitely deserves to be rewarded. She is currently teaching kindergarten and 1st grade special education!
