Let me be the first to tell you that we can all agree that this political season has been 'rocky' for us all.

Did you know a recent study from Pew Research Center has shown about two-thirds of Americans are worn out about the amount of news that comes across their television?

The constant back and forth between parties about who's better than who, the fake news, Russia, tax returns is enough to make me want to run head first into a wall.

Wouldn't it be great it we could find a place to escape the madness just for a little while?  I mean even if it's just for a weekend without no political affiliation that would make you feel like you're stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I think I found a remedy!

You can live under a rock!  Literally.....

Hotels.com is offering you a political getaway where you can actually live 'Under a rock" during the U.S. Presidential Election in New Mexico.

So, if you want to literally live under a rock you can fall off the grid in a 50-feet underground man cave between November 2nd - 7th.

Joe Belkin, Vice President of Global Brands at Hotels.com spoke more about this brilliant idea.

Political fatigue is real regardless of the year or election. We’re transforming an age-old idiom into a bookable experience, so individuals can relax, recharge and recover—because who knows what else 2020 has in store for us

How much will this getaway cost you?  Just a whopping $5 per night so a five-night stay will only cost you an expensive $25 bucks which is called the 'Abraham Lincoln presidential rate' per Fox News.

Reservations can be made here starting (Friday) October 9th starting at 8 a.m. CT on a first come first serve basis, but if you miss out on this deal you can take advantage of other great offers on their 'rockin' properties by using the code "UnderARock" when you're checking out.

Make sure you vote on November 3rd!
