The REAL South – Conclusion

Last week, we took on the monumental task of defining the "Real" South.  Not geographically, but where the lines of good manners, sweet tea, and fried foods are really drawn.  Not only did we argue about it on the show, we brought this debate to you!  I'm glad to say that you responded with high enough numbers for us to ascertain the answer once and for all.  People are really in the mood to vote this year for some reason.

The major sticking point was Texas.  Is Texas part of the South, or is it "It's own thing?"  I maintain that it is both.  This was a hard fought election that saw families being split down the middle.  My own brother, born and raised in the Lone Star, says that Texas is NOT in the South!  That is going to seriously affect his Christmas present this year.
