This Bossier Ice Cream Shop Will Make You Feel Like a Kid Again

I Think I Just Found My New Favorite Date Spot in North Bossier.

One of the reasons that I agree to go to Cracker Barrel is because of that really fun table game that every table has. You know the one where they have little golf tees and it’s on a wooden triangle? It’s one of my favorite things to play. For some reason, I love games like that and that’s probably why I have always enjoyed checkers. I can’t think of the last time I sat down and played checkers with a friend, well up until tonight.

My friend and I decided to do something different for dessert and I told her we needed to check out the brand-new ice cream and cookie dough shop Dough and Arrows.

When you walk in you’ll be greeted by some of the friendliest people and they won’t be annoyed when you ask them to help you pair up flavors. At first, I thought I was looking at ice cream then I realized I was looking at edible cookie dough. The thought is that you put one scoop of cookie dough and one scoop of ice cream together and it makes one delicious treat, they were right.

This is one of those places where you want to look up the menu or look at their Facebook page and get some ideas because there are so many options and it can make ordering difficult for somebody like me. My friend and I each ordered two completely different things and we sat down. We ended up sitting at a table that had a little tin can with checkers inside of it and on the table, there was a board painted onto it. So, of course, the smack talking started and we sat there ate our treats, and played a game of checkers like we were kids again.

I had kept hearing about this place on one of my favorite Facebook pages in Shreveport, 318 Eats And one thing they left out was how cool the feel was inside.

I think this could make for a really fun date night idea. I felt like a kid eating ice cream and playing checkers. You need to experience this for yourself.
