UPDATE:

The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a flash flood warning for... southeastern Webster parish, northwestern Desoto parish, southern Caddo parish,  southeastern Bossier parish, and Panola county in northeastern texas until 1145 am.

Radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

Here are the impacted areas:

Shreveport, Bossier City, Minden, Carthage, Haughton, Greenwood, Stonewall, Sibley, Beckville, Doyline, Dubberly, Heflin, Deberry, Gary City, Keachi, Longstreet, Keatchie and spring ridge.

Additional rainfall amounts of one to two inches are possible in the warned area.

A severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles east of Stonewall, or 14 miles southeast of Shreveport, moving northeast at 50 mph. hazard...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. source...radar indicated. impact...hail damage to vehicles is expected. expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Areas included in this latest warning:

Shreveport, Bossier City, Minden, Haughton, Ringgold, Sibley, Doyline, Dubberly, Dixie Inn, Heflin, Jamestown, Curtis, Plum Orchard Landing, Koran, Ninock, Noles Landing, Lake Bistineau North, Mcdade, Ogden and Frierson.

A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for Southwest Caddo Parish, Northwestern DeSoto Parish, East Panola County in Texas until 8:15.
The National Weather Service says this storm is just north of Joaquin, Texas about 15 miles east of Carthage. It's moving northeast at 45MPH.

This warning includes the following communities:

Shreveport, Greenwood, Blanchard, Stonewall, Keachi, Longstreet, Gloster, Keatchie, Frierson, Caspiana, Front, Spring Ridge, Cross Lake, Kingston, Kickapoo, Keithville, Deadwood, Robson and Forbing.
