Shreveport Locals Expose TikTokers’ Fake “First Time” in City.
Did British TikTokers Josh and Jase intentionally stir up drama in Shreveport for views? A video depicting a less-than-glamorous hotel stay has angered locals, who have quickly unearthed evidence suggesting the pair's narrative might not be entirely truthful, leading to an outpouring of positive Shreveport content.
Why Did Brit TikTokers Hate on Shreveport?
The TikTokers posted a video on their account @JoshandJase with the caption "We are speechless." The video shows the Brits giving followers a tour of what is clearly a cheap hotel that needs serious updates. The pair admits that they paid $200 for two nights, which you know is extremely cheap if you've paid for a hotel lately. They called this spot the "worst hotel in America." After that, the pair left for Lake Charles, where they were offered a free stay at a hotel. You can see the video that started the drama below.

The Shreveport Video: Genuine Critique or Calculated Attack?
Josh and Jase claimed that they chose Shreveport because of the population then they claimed that they had to leave because the hotel felt dangerous. They went on to have an epic adventure in Lake Charles, highlighting delicious eats, where they made a huge mistake. The pair acted like it was their first time trying crawfish; they acted as if they didn't know how to eat the mudbugs and how spicy the Bayou delicacy is. Check out the video they shot at Mac's Deli in Lake Charles below.

Did this whole bit feel familiar? It's because they have done the same act; however, last time they "tried crawfish for the first time," they were in Shreveport, of all places. Several locals recognized the inside of the restaurant and pointed out advertisements for Shreveport businesses on a TV behind them.
Almost 2 years to the date, Josh and Jase filmed themselves at Crawdaddy's on Mansfield Road. You can see the date that they uploaded the video as May 2, 2023. So wait, it wasn't their first time in Shreveport in 2025?
@joshandjaseThis was SPICY!!! But delicious.

If it is clear that these TikTokers will do anything for views, why are we acting like the choice in a cheap Shreveport hotel wasn't a calculated content hit for quick and easy views?
