TikTok Star Arrested in Texas for Louisiana Homicide Charges
News shocking the online social media influencer community today as TikTok star Terryon Thomas, known as Mr. Prada online, has been arrested. The arrested came in Dallas, Texas, but is related to a homicide in Louisiana.
Police in Louisiana found the body of 69-year-old Nicholas Abraham in Tangipahoa Parish, and suspect that Thomas may be connected. That's because Thomas was found by police driving Abraham's car. On Monday in Baton Rouge, police say Thomas tried to escape when found driving the victim's car, but crashed the vehicle. Thomas was able to flee on foot.
Abraham was a therapist in the Baton Rouge area, and police now say they have video evidence showing him entering Thomas' apartment on Saturday morning. Investigators say that Abraham was seen on the video wearing the same clothing that he was wearing when his body was discovered in Tangipahoa Parish.
Police say that when they investigated the apartment, they found signs of a struggle, including blood. Witnesses told investigators that saw Thomas loading something wrapped in a blue tarp into Abraham's car.
Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Gerald Sticker told WAFB "It was a very physical and very violent attack. He was bludgeoned about in the head shoulders and neck."
Thomas was arrested in Dallas, and will be on his way back to Louisiana to face Second Degree Murder Charges in Abraham's death.
Across Thomas' social media accounts, he has more than 4.3 million followers. His content has over 500 million likes.
Currently, investigators have not disclosed what they believe the relationship between Thomas and Abraham was. But they have stated that it doesn't currently appear that Thomas was a client of Abraham.
