Time Is Running Out For Your Easter Basket Donations
Easter is just around the corner, we can't wait to celebrate He Is Risen! If you would like to celebrate in a unique way we are collecting Easter Basket items. Items like: Candy, stuffed eggs, grass, and anything else you know a local kid would love to find in their Easter basket. Thank you so much to the amazing Mom and Daughter team Krista and Dezzy for showing up with so many of the items we desperately needed. Your donations will go towards the amazing work that the Providence House has been doing in Shreveport/Bossier for over 30 years. The vision at Providence House is to be a catalyst for change so no family in our community is homeless. They take in homeless families, homeless single moms, and dads. We spoke with Vernie with Providence House and she said whether it's 1 basket or 30 baskets they will be so happy. Together we can surpass this number and make sure that every child that is a part of the Providence House program has an Easter basket that they will love.
You can come drop off your Easter Basket donations at Townsquare Media at 6341 Westport Avenue. Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We will be collecting your donations up until Wednesday, April 17th. If you can't make it to the station we will be at Batteries + Bulbs in Bossier on Airline April 17th from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
