2 Huge Stars From 90’s Country In One Shreveport Concert
Just when you might have thought Shreveport/Bossier's country concert calendar couldn't look any better in 2023, two of the biggest names in 90's country announce they're coming too!
Billing the night as "One Night, Two Icons", country fans are in for an incredible treat!
Tracy Lawrence and Clay Walker will hit the stage at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 7:30 pm!
This one is essentially a coming home (or at least to the general area of their hometowns) for both artists.
Many might remember that Tracy Lawrence is from Foreman, Arkansas, just outside Texarkana.
With a list of 90's country gold standards like "Sticks and Stones", "Time Marches On", "If The World Had A Front Porch", "Paint Me a Birmingham" and "Better Man Better Off", the audience will be able to sing along the entire night. And many might not know that Lawrence has a Shreveport connection to our recently celebrated Davis boys, Jordan and Jacob who wrote the 2023 CMA Song of the Year, "Buy Dirt".
It was actually the boys' Uncle Stan Paul Davis, along with Kenny Beard from Loggy Bayou, who penned one of Lawrence's original smash hits, "Today's Lonely Fool".
And Clay Walker is from Beaumont, Texas, but he still considers himself a Cajun. In fact, about the time Walker hit the Nashville scene, there was somewhat of large Beaumont movement in country music as it also gave us greats like Mark Chesnutt and Tracy Byrd.
For any who might have never attended a Clay Walker concert, you're in for a treat! With Walker's string of hits including "She Won't Be Lonely Long", "If I Could Make a Living", "What's It To You" and "Live Until I Die", it's nothing but high octane the entire time he's on stage!
Tickets will go on sale to the general public tomorrow, November 18 at 10:00 am at the Municipal Auditorium box office and at ticketmaster.com
