Treat Yo’ Self (and live longer)

I think that everyone has a connection to breast cancer.  I know that several women in my family have had to bear that cross.  Some survived, but some did not.  There will never be enough fundraisers or awareness creating events for this terrible disease.  The MLK Health Center & Pharmacy is teaming up with Susan G. Komen of North Louisiana and  Feist-Weiller Cancer Center's Partners in Wellness Mobile Screening Unit for an event that takes it to a whole different level!

How do you make a mammogram appointment fun?  Add in a healthy dose of food, games, prizes, and manicures - that's how!  The best part is, this event is especially set up for Louisiana women who need a little motivation or lack health insurance.  Just make an appointment, and bring your ID!  Living longer is fun!
