If you're like me and obsessed with anything the Food Network does, maybe you follow one too many chefs on TikTok, or maybe you're the person who deconstructs every dish you enjoy at your local Shreveport restaurant, well, this event was made just for you.

Prize Fest has its own celebration that focuses on food called Food Prize, and in fact, this Shreveport festival has done incredible things for local chefs, helping them propel their careers to the next level. Case in point: Top Chef winner Tristen Epps.

Tristen Epps is Back in Shreveport

Prize Fest is bringing a Top Chef champion back to Shreveport for an epic BBQ bash. On Friday, October 17th, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Chef Tristen Epps will join the Food Prize Celebrity Chefs to host the inaugural Celebrity Chef BBQ Takeover.

This first-ever event invites guests to eat, meet, and mingle with Top Chef celebrities as they team up with local culinary stars to serve a delicious BBQ lunch.

What's On the Menu?

Each ticket includes the ability to indulge in three selections of smoked meats (chicken, beef, and pork), each alongside a paired side, and a dessert. Everything is crafted by the celebrity and local chefs themselves, including Niema DiGrazia, Cindy Johnson, Stu Dyson, and Hardette Harris.

Ticket holders will also have the chance to interact with the chefs. Tickets include non-alcoholic beverages and a choice of one Budweiser product. Tickets cost $55 in advance and $65 at the door.

Prize Fest 2025 is shaping up to be an unforgettable event, but you'll want to act fast because tickets are limited to just 200 guests!
