Tying the Knot Soon? Awesome Wedding Venues in Shreveport-Bossier

It won't be long before you start seeing your Facebook and Instagram newsfeed blow up with engagement announcements. Some may hate on it, however to me, it's nothing short of awesome.

How amazing is it that two people who can't live without each other get to plan a fun party to celebrate their love? At least that's one of my favorite things about the holidays. I love engagement announcements. If there is an engagement there are a whole lot of parties coming our way.

One of the biggest perks in being a DJ for weddings in Shreveport-Bossier is that I get to check out so many beautiful wedding venues in the area and I get to work with some awesome wedding coordinators.

I took to my Facebook page to ask several brides and wedding guests about the most beautiful wedding venues all over northwest Louisiana.

What Makes for a Great Wedding Venue?

I think that you need to keep in mind air conditioning, yes, some all outdoor venues are gorgeous, but if the heat is intense like it is half of the year in Louisiana it really trims down your selection, no one wants to be sweating the entire time.

You also have to think about who you'll be working with. Is a wedding venue owned by someone who is easy to work with and enjoyable to work with? Never book a venue without meeting the owners and or your coordinator if a coordinator is provided by the venue.
