University Veterinary Hospital’s Run Like An Animal 5K Broke Expectations With 450 Runners

My puppy, Rudd, was a little grouchy this morning when I told him we were going to see Tucker, my boyfriend, run a 5K. No joke, this was his face.

However Rudd's mood may have been the 5K had a fantastic turn out. You had the option of running the 5K or running a mile with your dog.

Proceeds from the run will benefit The Pet Pantry of Northwest Louisiana & PEP - The Pet Education Project and Paws 4 Life.

At the finish line there was live music, food, and beer to celebrate the end of the race.

Tucker finished 8th in his age group and ran the 5K in 33 minutes. I am a very proud girlfriend. You can see my Tucker in the image below. He is 4th from the left.
