USA’s Largest Waterpark is a Short Drive from Shreveport

Summer is in full swing and it's officially vacation season. Today I found out we're a short drive away from the largest waterpark in America.

In fact, it's one of the largest waterparks in the world. Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock, Texas, has a staggering 223,000 sq. ft. waterpark. Yes, you read that correctly.

The Kalahari resort was opened in Round Rock in November of last year and quickly made national headlines due to its monstrous size. It's definitely not the first of its kind, however, as Kalahari Resorts are found across the country, with every waterpark bigger than the last. Granted, everything is bigger in Texas, and Kalahari made sure that also applied to their newest waterpark.

The Kalahari Resort in Round Rock doesn't just offer the most incredible waterpark you'll ever visit. No, they didn't stop there. They also have four incredible restaurants, an adventure park, a bowling alley, and so much more.

A couple of months ago, I wrote a historic article that featured a record-breaking 10,000 words. If I were to write everything that Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock has to offer, I'll sit at this keyboard for days and definitely break my record for words/

Instead, I'll tell you that if you're planning a trip with the family this summer, I can't imagine a better destination than the largest waterpark in America.

I honestly can't believe it's been open since November and I'm just now finding out about it. I've got two vacations scheduled this summer and I guarantee you that one of them will be spent in Round Rock.
